Caravela lounge chairs at Kering’s restaurant

For the design of the HQ restaurant of the luxury group Kering, in the heart of Paris, the duo of architects Axel Cornu and Gabriel Verret from Cove Architects selected two Caravela lounge chairs.

Located at the heart of the former Laennec Hospital in Paris, the restaurant was designed by Cove Architectes to meet two complementary goals: restore the former elegance of the place, and allow users to gather in as many configurations as possible.

The space can be used as a restaurant, but also as a place to hold formal meetings. With that in mind, the architects conceived four layouts, each with their qualities. Caravela lounge chairs were selected to library space, the perfect spot to relax, while reading one of the many books at disposal on the shelves.

It’s an honour to have two of our chairs at the HQ restaurant of a global luxury group, that manages the development of a series of renowned Houses in fashion, leather goods, jewellery and watches like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, among others.
