Philipp Grundhöfer is our new Design Director

Philipp Grundhöfer, Wewood’s Design Director

Product designer, Philipp Grundhöfer is our new Design Director, succeeding Christophe de Sousa.

Born in Lahr/ Black Forest, Germany, Philipp moved to Portugal in 2019 to join Wewood as the responsible for the product development department.

After two years working closely with the former Design Director and the production, he knows the processes better than anyone and it is the right choice at the moment while the brand is preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

Philipp has a degree in Interior Design and studied Product Design at ECAL, Lausanne. Before joining Wewood, he worked for several designers and design brands, such as jörg boner productdesign in Zurich (CH) and E15 in Frankfurt (D).

In the following months, Philipp will set the route of the collection in close collaboration with the marketing/communication and sales departments. He will follow every process from the first briefings until the final production of the new pieces.
