Maison & Objet January 2018 is almost here. Known as the event that set trends regarding interior design and design, it’s a regular show for Wewood! For this edition, Wewood will present several new pieces and surprises. Wewood both will be, as usual at Hall 7 – stand A69. This January, Wewood will present an original and comfortable stand, perfect for cozy home ambiances.

This edition Wewood has a novelty to announce: the new partnership with WOHA architects. Wewood will be manufacturing and distributing the furniture of WOHAbeingh, specially the Bintan Collection and Ulu Indoor Collection.

In January Wewood will present a few pieces, designed to be pleasing and eye-catching. Bowie sofa, Pensil lounge chair, Luna mirrors and Drop table are four of our new products. Bowie sofa is a soft balanced piece designed to be pleasing and comfortable, to fit equally well in a living room, as in a hotel lobby.

Inspired by the «drapé» of dresses, Drop table leads with incredible delicacy an organic shape that functions as a simple handle. Designed to be discreet, Drop’s rounded edge fits with elegance into any part of a domestic or contract interior: next to a beloved sofa or in a lounge area.

Pensil design was inspired in the old bridge Pênsil, currently known as D. Luís bridge. Created to celebrate the coronation anniversary of D.Maria II, Pênsil was a suspense bridge between Porto and Gaia. Available as an armchair, a chair and a lounge chair, Pensil is the perfect set of chairs to embellish your home.

Luna mirrors are crafted from high-quality and certified materials, emphasizing the beauty of traditional joinery techniques. With the structure in 100% solid wood, Wewood launched a serie of wall mirrors of three different sizes. Handcrafted with the most traditional Portuguese joinery techniques, Luna mirrors can be placed in different position and by simply rotating the
wooden frame can create different combinations of décor set.

Wewood will also present their latest catalogue, photographed with several Portuguese brands as a special collaboration. Also, they will present the new contract brochure with their latest projects, like Cálem Cellars and 1908 Lisboa hotel.

Visit us from 19-23 January at hall 7 - stand A69!

Singapore-based architecture practice WOHA launched its new design brand WOHAbeing at Maison&Objet Paris, last September 2017. Awarded Maison&Objet Asia Designer of the Year, WOHAbeing debuted six collections of homeware that were developed in collaboration with five wonderful partners.

The six collections, designed by Mun Summ Wong and Richard Hassell, will be shown to the Singapore public for the first time in an exhibition at the National Design Centre. Named Bonjour, WOHAbeing, the exhibition encompasses all objects shown in Paris, as well as new pieces, such as the Diaspora tableware range and new apartment-sized Corak rugs. The collections each feature a distinct personality and style and encompass different combinations of objects, ranging from furniture, rugs, lights, bathware to tableware.

At the opening of Bonjour, WOHAbeing, the new collaboration with their Portuguese partner Wewood will officially be announced.
